We are looking for a commercially minded executive who can take the leadership role in scaling Strategy Sims globally. Over the coming five years we aim to have the Strategy Sims implemented in over 100 top global business schools.

We will greatly expand our network of certified experts and facilitators and we will develop a generation of new digital strategy sim offerings.

 You will be working closely with the founding team at Strategy Tools and the global network of academic experts and faculty around the world.

 Your role will be to lead the commercial growth and go-to-market globally.

The Company

In late 2018 Strategy Tools AS launched the first strategy Simulation, Scale Up!

In less than three years, the company has developed five leading teaching/learning simulations covering the fields of strategy, innovation & corporate finance: entrepreneurship & entrepreneurial finance, Innovation clusters & national competitiveness, gender-smart entrepreneurship, and venture capital.

With over 200 sessions completed globally, 100’s and 100’s of people have been trained and educated using the Strategy Sims. Working with top business schools like Duke University, BI Business School, and Northeastern, the sims are tested and validated in the educational segment.

Now, the company is spinning out the Strategy Sims as a separate unit, focusing primarily on the global 1000 business schools segment.

The Opportunity

Your Role

✔ Be overall responsible for the growth and global distribution of the Strategy Sims

✔ Train & certify 100’s of Partners and faculty globally

✔ Work with the top 1000 business schools to implement strategy sims in their educational programs

✔ Take the long-term leadership role in building out Strategy Sims next generation tech solutions

Detailed Role Description

Business development

✔ Business development

✔ Lead overall business development and sales of the Strategy Sims

✔ Scout and develop ties with the global top 1000 business schools

✔ Build in-bound and out-bound marketing and business development solutions

✔ Own and develop the sales funnel

✔ Close contracts and sales with business school clients globally

 

Partner Network

✔ Develop the global simulation facilitator partner network

✔ Build regional hubs and local centers of expertise

✔ Plan and run all partner events and annual sim summit

 

Training & certification

✔ Train & certify partners

✔ Train & certify faculty

✔ Work with the team to develop new, scalable formats for training & certifications

 

Program Development

✔ Work with top 1000 global business schools to implement Strategy Sims in their programs

✔ Work with top 1000 global business schools to design entirely new programs around the sims

✔ Develop case studies, teaching notes and best practices on the use of Strategy Sims in education

Delivery

✔ Lead the overall delivery of Strategy Sims around the world

✔ Work with the Strategy Tools team and Global Partners on delivery at scale

✔ Work with faculty and teaching assistants on delivery at scale

 

Follow-up

✔ Develop content and case studies on sims; distribute in text and video format

✔ Work closely with top 1000 business schools over time to expand the Strategy Sims footprint

✔ Build strong networks with early movers in the academic space

 

Community development

✔ Grow the global community of simulation facilitators

✔ Build the content and program for frequent community interaction

✔ Run the annual Strategy Sim Summit

Team

✔ Build and scale your global team

✔ Manage and lead a distributed team

✔ Expand the team through strategic alliances and partnerships

 

Tech development (medium-term)

✔ Lead the long-term development of the digital simulation solutions

✔ Build Strategy Sims into a global leader in education tech solutions

✔ Build the subscription-based, recurring revenue models around the tech solution

About You

✔ You are a high performer. You have a global outlook, and will be equally comfortable doing business in Copenhagen, New York and Shanghai.

✔ You are excellent at relationship building and have a proven track record of closing sales.

✔ You have extensive experience in international business development and sales

✔ You have proven experience building and leading distributed teams.

✔ You can develop relationships and close sales at academic institutions, either directly or working through our sim experts and global partners

✔ You can grow a community and help our partners become insanely successful in their respective markets

✔ You have a passion for teaching / learning and how new ideas and solutions will change the education landscape of tomorrow
