Supercluster Fundamentals
Supercluster Fundamentals is a high-impact tool for large scale group sessions. It helps you identify what members of a supercluster would want out of it, as well as what companies are hoping to get out of their time and investment in a supercluster. This helps you map out the fundamental tasks a supercluster needs to focus on in order to succeed.

Use Case: MaGIC
When MaGIC, the Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre launched the early stage work around building Malaysian Innovation Superclusters, this was one of the core tools. Hosting a number of ecosystem events, MaGIC created space for wide discussions on what very diverse groups of participants wanted to see from a National Supercluster Program. When entreprenuers, investors, academics, young talent, media, government and corporates came together to discuss what they all wanted, Supercluster Fundementals was the perfect tool for the job.
How to Use it

Print Big & Place on the Table
Supercluster Fundamental works well for groups of 2 – 15 people, often laid out on a suitably large table.
We recommend using sizes of 113 cm or more.
Both paper and PVC materials can be used for this tool.
Hint:
We generally recommend 60 – 90 minutes for a good session on this tool.

Discuss, Sketch & Write
Contrary to most tools, we generally recommend groups to write directly onto the tool.
We have seen beautiful strategic conversations evolve and change over time, with diverse perspectives emerging from the participants. Leave ample time for discussion. Expect to see more text, new ideas and connecting arrows emerge as participants frequently shout «all of these are important, and they are all connected».

Prioritize & Focus
Toward the end of every session, we recommend zooming in on the ranking part of the tool.
Please have all groups complete the ranking order of each area. This is tough. Many find it very challenging, but there is great value in the ability to focus, focus, focus.
