What’s Your Exit Strategy?
Join us for a wide-ranging conversation on all things VC exits, with two of the top minds on designing for exits across the European and African VC markets.
In recent months the financial press has lamented the lack of exits in private market investing. Carta and Prequin reports shout out the lack of liquidity the market is generating. Pension funds and large-scale allocators are getting nervous about the lack of liquidity coming back to them, in turn leading to a slowdown in new capital deployment into the market.
Many LPs are pulling back allocations to wait and see how this market plays out, leading to multiple vintages of emerging managers having highly challenging fundraising markets.
Sifted has covered the challenges in detail, with articles like VCs need exits — but how are they going to get them? (Feb) And “We should’ve sold more” says head of Speedinvest, as VC closes fourth fund (Jan). Globally, there is a growing recognition that venture capital manager can and should do ‘more’.
But how?
As it turns out, few VC managers have a proven, battle-tested playbook on how to generate exits, in markets good and bad. Across the global VC market, a standard performing fund might see 10% exit graduation across its portfolio, while a high-performing fund might see 40% or higher. Surely, some managers are doing this better than others.
In this engaging webinar we will hear from Rosanne and Daniel, how they see the exit market today and in 2025, but more importantly, we will focus on what VC funds can do.
